Born in Madrid of Guinean descent, Rubén Nsué began to dance professionally at a very young age and was soon taking part in well-known children’s television programmes. After receiving a grant for the Escuela de Danza de Broadway, he moved to New York to further his training. Later on, his interest in perfecting his style would take him to London, where he specialised in Hip-Hop. In 2007 he founded his own dance company, Lokomamia, that is in residence at Madrid’s Teatros del Canal. Nsué was one of the chief ambassadors of the dance section at the first urban trends festival held in Madrid, where he spoke about his experience at Mulafest and a host of other subjects.
