In the setting of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and after the fashion show of the first guest country, Peru, that featured the collections of designers Jessica Butrich, Meche Correa and Stika Semsch, the Peruvian Embassy in Spain and Promperú, in collaboration with SModa magazine, stage a party at Madrid’s Circulo de Bellas Artes to assess the initiative and present the publication entitled Perú: moda y textiles. Numerous representatives of the cultural, economic and political life of both countries attend the event, including Mario Vargas-Llosa—Nobel Prize in Literature, 2010; Miguel de Cervantes Award, 1994; and Rómulo Gallegos Prize, 1967—.
